Claire and Ethan grew up with our Pop-Up Mascots, so it was only fitting that they got the honor of opening our newest Polar Bear Holiday Card. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone.
Massive shoutout to Claire, Ethan, and their awesome parents for sharing the video with us.

Last year I created an interactive Christmas Card that I sent to Svengoolie and his crew as a thank you and fun Holiday Greeting. I was thrilled that he showed it during his broadcast!
I created the graphics myself based on the characters on the show. The word SVENMASS was hand cut to make them pop out of the card.
Svengoolie can be found on MeTV all over the country.
Thanks again, Svengoolie, and to Christopher Hamby for documenting his mail segment from his show.

When I first started working at American Slide Chart | Perrygraf, I started to notice charts that were used in movies.
I’m a big fan of Science Fiction movies. In Plan 9 from Outer Space by Ed Wood, a Wheel-Chart was used in the cockpit scene. To this day I still can’t seem to find any reference to it online but it does resemble one of our Date Forecasters.
I’ve been told that a Wheel Chart was also used in the 90’s show L.A. Law but I have not been able to find the exact show that this was on.
The most famous Wheel Chart that was featured in a movie is the black comedy Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb. The chart is used by Dr. Stangelove (Peter Sellers) in calculating a nuclear bomb's effects.
While this blog is more of a Throwback Thursday, it’s still interesting to me when I see any type of Wheel...
March is Women’s History Month, but it’s also PrintHerStory Month for Girls Who Print. Our own Nanette Keir was thrilled to be included in giving her thoughts on her journey through print and what mentors she has had to help her navigate her career through the printing industry. Print/Empower Long and Prosper!

We love cartoons! We created Multiplication and Division Slide Charts for EZGrader featuring Scooby-Doo. The bright graphics make it a wonderful interactive math flashcard. The slide chart has a locking mechanism that prevents the slide from falling out. It also has a larger thumb-cut area to make it easier to pull. We were so happy to partner with EZGrader to create these fun charts.

Before you send your artwork or logos into your printer, go over the list below and take care of the 5 main problems we encounter with customer artwork. Not only will we love you for it, but it will make the whole process go easier and faster for you. Here are a few things to look out for and some helpful hints on how to get them.
1) DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BLACK – The Black in your Color Swatch menu should have a CMYK breakdown of 100% Black (0, 0, 0, 100).
Why is this important? When you add cyan, magenta or yellow such as (68, 69, 78, 89) this combination can look “muddy” on press and we want to give you a nice clean black.
2) USE PANTONE OR CMYK (NOT BOTH) – We print in both, so please double check whether your job is in Pantone or CMYK and keep the colors in your file matching that.
Stating the Obvious We understand it may seem obvious Panto...
I have so few passions in my life that an outsider might think of me as boring and old, but I am a very happy camper, if I am by water with a book, a glass of wine and a wedge of cheese!
So why is it that the 20 and 30 year olds of our time, do not want to read anymore? Whatever happened to the intrigue of characters in a story that you start to love and feel like they are like family by the time you finish the book? Are books being replaced by videos? I so hope not!
If we are at the point, in our younger generations that we have to make reading more fun and interactive, then why not introduce them to American Slide-Chart products. We create and produce all of our products that spin, slide or pop! Finding the answers is not only fun but also educational. Our products can be used in sales kits, direct mail, trade shows or simply drive potential buyers to a ...
I have a niece that goes away to camp every summer. This year instead of sending her simple postcards, I decided to create a few pop-ups to send.
I created this double polyhedron (based loosely on my Kerywn Pop-Up I created for Svengoolie) and turned it into a giraffe. My niece Holly loves giraffes and wrote me to comment on it.
It's always nice to think you look cool in the eyes of your brother's kids!

Slide Rules are computing devices that would appear to be multiple rulers working together. In their most basic form, they multiply two numbers by sliding in relation to each other until desired numbers are lined up. They are utilized to do speedy routine mathematical work, in a variety of conditions.
If you looked under the experience section of Slide Rule’s resume you would find: landed astronauts on the Moon (1), aided bombardiers and navigators during World War II; calculated fuel usage and altitude for U.S. Navy aircraft ranges; consulted with engineers to construct the Empire State Building, Hoover Dam, and the curves of the Golden Gate Bridge. Still making an impact today, American Slide-Chart / Perrygraf produces slide charts, devices that operate on the principle of a slide rule. We have produced charts that aid in figh...
